Well, the story says the Afghan police are investigating - let's let them finish before we rush to judgement, shall we? My initial reaction is to trust the military account, I try never to armchair quarterback 'the man on the ground'. Irregardless, there's a big difference between this and Abu Ghadrib, for instance, so let's not jump to overly harsh comparisons yet.
Dan, I didn't mean to imply any guilt or impropriety on the part of the Canadian soldier; nor on the Americans in Iraq. It's just that when it comes to armed soldiers in cities accidents happen, and I'm afraid that too many accidents produce insurgency.
