Where's Paul?

Does anyone know if Paul Martin was in the House last night? Looking through the list of votes in Hansard, he does not appear, and I'm curious if he was there and sat on his hands or if his Outlook didn't ping to let him know that he had to show up for work.

Actually he wasn't. Craig Oliver on CTV was quite snotty about it too. Maybe he was auditioning for Fox. His cellphone went off while he was on the air so he's got the professionalism levels down.

Isn’t it about time Paul Martin either showed up for work more often or packed in this charade of being an MP? He’s not doing himself or his constituents any favours by consistently being so notably absent from the House.

He really is starting to piss me off. It's a good thing for him that they can't recall him.
