Post-Bush Purification of Gandhi Memorial

As graven reports below, the Gandhi memorial has been "purified" after the visit of George Bush's entourage. I didn't have net-access for much of today and saw the banner headline on CTV News, without any details, but the details are interesting.

Despite the protests ahead of and during the visit, particularly to this shrine, the reason for the "purification" was the presence of Bush's sniffer dogs, not Bush, whose visit was essentially to sign weapons deals with the Indian government. (And then, later in the week to lift his leg on the Pakistani government.)

Of course, this means that Bush visited a holy place with dogs. Do you think he did that when he went to meet the Pope at the Vatican?

It just got me thinking about what the American people are going to do to cleanse the Whitehouse after eight years of Bush reign. Do you think they'd call in the British to cauterize it again for them?

Oh... right... it was the dog pee. yeah. Sure. I'm sticking with the idea that it was an exorcism.
