'Innocent until proven guilty' only applies to the court system - since Kev's unlikely to be called for jury duty on this one he's allowed to hold any opinion he wants.
Note: I'm not saying he is guilty, and I don't think Kevin was trying to say that - I could see the irony in his statement. It's just that this shrill 'Innocent until proven guilty' cry only seems to ring out on the blogosphere when it's a celebrity being charged.
Well, I agree it wouldn't fit with his public persona - but that doesn't mean I'd dismiss it completely out of hand - there's a raft of difference between public and private personas. However, I think you're probably right - just from the whiny nature of the 'she kicked me and hurt my finger' statement - how would that happen anyway? Was she aiming for his hand, or was he using his hands to protect his groin? If so, why? Nothing in his music ever gave me the impression that he's got huevos grande - quite the opposite.
Is it not premature to call him a beast? So far this is an accusation that he refuted. What happened to "innocent until proven guilty"?

I was being ironic. Read the article - he actually says something to the effect of "I think she hurt my finger".

Yanni abusing a spouse seems to me as likely as James Taylor being a serial rapist. That's kinda where I was going.
Either I need to start using smileys or people need to read this blog differently.
