A question...

Does anyone out there know how to access list of political party donors in Nova Scotia? They are made public, I believe, but how does one go about getting it?

Seriously, I'd like to know...

The annual statements of political contributions for 2004 are now available.

The statements are filed by the recognized political parties and their electoral district associations. These statements disclose the names and addresses of all contributors who donated $50 or more.

Disclosure is made by Christine McCulloch, chief electoral officer and designated person, in accordance with the requirements of the Members and Public Employees Disclosure Act.

The statements are available from the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer at 3667 Strawberry Hill, Halifax, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
